Poly tank restoration kit for 5 to 15 liters tanks

Poly tank restoration kit for 5 to 15 liters tanks

€54.95 Tax included

Restom KitPoly is THE COMPLETE TREATMENT for the treatment of FIBER AND RESIN tanks, whether or not they have already contained fuel.

⚠ Not suitable for polypropylene or polyethylene flexible tanks: off-road motorbikes after 1980, recent automotive tanks.

With this treatment and thanks to a thin layer of resin applied to the entire inner surface, your tank is durably protected.

This complete treatment allows you to clean your tank properly and stops the appearance of paint "blisters" due to the migration of petrol through the porous wall.

Properties :

- Suitable for polyester, carbon, vinylester, ABS, polyamide and epoxytanks

- This type of tank is characteristic of Spanish, Italian and sometimes Japanese motorbikes (Martin, Roca, etc.) from the years before 1980
Also found in home-made tanks for special vehicles (buggies, off-road, rally, light aviation, etc.)

- Suitable for Diesel, SP95, SP98, Avgas 100LL, GNR, E85 and SP95-E10 biofuels

⚠ Not suitable for polypropylene or polyethylene flexible tanks: off-road motorbikes after 1980, recent automotive tanks.

Implementation information :

Restom Kit POLY contains :

- 2 Restom SDT 4060 degreasers (no risk for polyester as they are solvent-free)

- 1 Restom EIR 2000Resin/Hardener set

The very detailed INSTRUCTIONS are included in the box. Note that the distribution of the products is carried out by simply turning the tank on itself:

The treatment is therefore simple to carry out and does not require any tools

Special case:

If there is already a treatment in the tank (e.g. original coating, or other resin or paint that is peeling off, etc.), strip it with Restom DKPANT 4031. Consult us for the procedure to follow.

Our advice:

- when the tank capacity is "limited" compared to the kits offered, take the larger kit, as the polyester structure tends to "consume" a greater amount of resin

- Tanks with partitions: take a larger kit, especially if you are close to the maximum capacity that the kit can handle

- Light aviation tanks: please consult us before purchasing, as some tanks have already been treated with a soft product that needs to be removed before treatment.

Think of our soft plugs for your fuel tank inlets and outlets.

⚠ Recommendations

New polyester tanks: do not use resin alone (EIR 2000) but a Poly Kit WITH degreasers
