The grooved friction material allows water and other materials such as sand or mud to be cleared at once from the surface of the shoe.
As a bonus, these channels also help to cool the friction surface. Our FTR shoes were devised and patented in the 1980s. They were particularly beneficial in off-road applications, when nothing else would do.
They are still much appreciated by the classic bike fraternity.
